Insulation for underwood heating systems
XPS Insulation Boards are specifically designed for use with our electric underfloor heating systems on timber, concrete and screed floors.
XPS Insulation or Extruded polystyrene insulation which it is also known as is manufactured through an extrusion process. This process involves melting together the plastic resin with the other ingredients. The liquid formed is then continuously extruded through a die and expands during the cooling process. This then produces a closed cell rigid insulation.

This product is new to me and bought for lining an airing cupboard , to insulate and tidy up the walls. The board is nicely made with crisp edging and rounded corners, is slightly flexible and has a firm surface finish to an obvious porous material.
I’m pleased with my choice.
