Aube TH232 7 Day Programmable Thermostat - Digital A/F/AF
So far, so good! The thermostat was bought to replace a thermostat which operates in a demanded floor temperature mode. The sensor became unserviceable, meaning that no heat was demanded by the thermostat. The Aube thermostat was purchased as it has an 'Ambient' mode which demands heat with regards to the air temperature of the room to be heated. I was thus able to restore heating to the bathroom without having to rip up tiles and replace the sensor cable.
A quick PS: The thermostat seems to demand heat before the programmed time, but this is the function of the 'Early Start' setting, to ensure that the room has reached the desired temperature by the programmed time. Took me a while to realise what was happening and that it wasn't broken!
